It was released theatrically on May 30 and garnered a decent box office collection of Rs 17.05 crore in India and Rs 33.5 crore worldwide (as per Sacnilk). Now, the comedy sequel is set for its OTT premiere to reach a wider audience. Fans will be able to watch Saunkan Saunkanay on both Z5 and OTTplay Premium from July 25 onwards.

Featuring Punjabi stars Ammy Virk, Sargun Mehta, and Nimrat Khaira in the lead, Saunkan Saunkanay 2 revolves around a man and his two wives as their dynamics further get complicated after the arrival of their husband’s potential third wife. Helmed by Smeep Kang, the comedy-drama film stars Sargun Mehta in a dual role. She plays the first wife of the leading character and also the Firang, or the Italian third wife.

The story centers around a man who marries two sisters, but his life takes another stormy turn when a third woman enters his Desi household. With more funny chaos and catfights between the three wives, Saunkan Saunkanay will keep you entertained.
