Scam 2003 - The Telgi Story release date: When and where to watch the spiritual sequel of Scam 1992- The Harshad Mehta Story on OTT

After the hit 2020 series, Scam 1992- The Harshad Mehta Story, Hansal Mehta is back with its upcoming spiritual sequel titled Scam 2003 - The Telgi Story. Based on Sanjay Singh's Book Telgi Scam: Reporter's ki Diary, the biographical financial thriller is directed by Tushar Hiranandani, while Mehta serves as the co-director.

After the intriguing teaser and power-packed trailer video, the makers have dropped a new promo video that unveils the official release date of the forthcoming OTT series, which stars Gagan Dev Riar as Abdul Karim Telgi with Mukesh Tiwari and Sana Amin Sheikh in key roles.

The latest promo video gives a glimpse of a few significant scenes from the series that reveal the pivotal and key characters of the show. The new clip also features the iconic soundtrack in the background that was used in the Pratik Gandhi starrer as well.

Makers released the latest official video with a special caption on SonyLIV's YouTube channel that reads, "The story of India's Biggest stamp paper scam and the man behind it - Abdul Karim Telgi! Scam 2003 - The Telgi Story, streaming on 1st September #Scam2003 #Scam2003OnSonyLIV (Sic)."

The Tushar Hiranandani and Hansal Mehta directorial is developed by the latter. The infamous story by Sanjay Singh is penned by Karan Vyas and Kiran Yadnyopavit for the screen. Ishaan Chhabra has composed the music for the web series, which is bankrolled by Sameer Nair under Applause Entertainment along with Studio NEXT.

Release date

Scam 2003: The Telgi Story, which also features Bharat Jadhav and Shaad Randhawa in important supportive roles, is all set to release on September 1, 2023 on SonyLIV.
