Screen Actors Guild Awards 2025: When, where to watch if Shogun and Wicked dominate award season

One of the major events in the Hollywood Film Awards season, the Screen Actors Guild Awards is only days away. To be hosted by actress Kristen Bell, who was last at the helm of affairs in 2018, the event will be held at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles. Nominations for the awards, which is in its 31st edition and recognizes efforts in films and TV, were announced in early January, with Wicked and Shogun named in 5 categories each.

SAG Awards 2025 to stream on Netflix

The Screen Actors Guild Awards 2025, commonly called the SAG Awards, will stream live for audiences across the globe and will be available on Netflix. The streamer will begin its coverage of the event at 5.30 am (IST) on February 24, 2025, with the red carpet, as the who’s who of Hollywood make a beeline for the venue. The show will begin an hour later at 6.30 am.

In a statement released by the Guild, Bell, who is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series, said she was honoured to be back as host. “Thrilled to be hosting the SAG Awards again this year. I’m honored to be asked back and can’t wait to share the evening with my fellow actors, doing what we do best … celebrating ourselves,” read the statement.
