With Jeethu Joseph, one of the best thriller filmmakers in Malayalam, serving as its showrunner, there was some excitement surrounding the series' release on February 27. Majority of them assert that Roslin's sluggish pacing and dull plot in the first few episodes let viewers down, with the conclusion being the only compelling reason to binge watch it. 

Another group of viewers, however, believe that while this Malayalam series has several surprises and slow-burning moments, it is worth seeing once for fans of this genre.

The focus of the series is Roslin, a teenager who is on the verge of turning 18 and is plagued by recurrent nightmares about a stalker she says has green eyes. When the stalker visits her home as a guest and charms her gullible parents, John and Shobha, her nightmares practically become a reality. 

Hakim Shahjahan, Meena, Vineeth, Anishma Anilkumar, T G Ravi, and Shankar Ramakrishnan all play significant roles in Roslin, which is directed by debutante Sumesh Nandakumar and based on a narrative by Vinayak Sasikumar. According to OTTplay's review, Roslin makes an effort to tread new ground with an intriguing concept and some genuine performances, but its plot flaws prevent it from having the necessary impact.
