Section 84: Diana Penty pens a heartfelt note for Amitabh Bachchan, Nimrat Kaur & the entire team as she wraps up shoot

Diana Penty is one of the most talented actresses in the Bollywood industry. After making her debut in the romantic comedy film, Cocktail, in 2012, she knew she had the right skill set to make it big in the industry.

2023 has been a special year for Penty. So far, she has featured in as many as two Bollywood films – Selfiee and Bloody Daddy – and will soon be seen in Amitabh Bachchan starrer Section 84.

While it is not known yet when Section 84 will hit the theatres, Diana Penty has dropped an interesting update about the upcoming suspense thriller. In an Instagram post, she confirmed that she wrapped up the shoot for the film. Not only this, but she also thanked megastar Amitabh Bachchan, actor Abhishek Banerjee and actress Nirmat Kaur for their constant support and words of encouragement throughout the making of the film.

“And it’s a WRAP. On what has been an incredibly special journey for me. Before we began shooting #Section84, I was beyond excited to be working with @amitabhbachchan for the first time, but also so damn nervous!! But now that we’ve been through a film together, I can safely say, it has been one of the most enriching experiences of my career. As an actor, I finally know what it means to ‘BE’ in a scene. Mr. Bachchan allows you to do that, and gives you space to do so much more. Watching and observing him is like witnessing a masterclass,” Penty wrote.

She added, “Also, I finally got to hang out with @nimratofficial and @nowitsabhi on set. Here’s proof that we’re actually in the same film @ribhu_dasgupta, thank you for bringing this whole thing together so beautifully. But more importantly, thank you for making sure our stomachs were always full! Priorities, priorities #Section84 @reliance.entertainment @filmhangar”

Section 84 is an upcoming movie directed by Ribhu Dasgupta and will feature Amitabh Bachchan, Diana Penty, Nimrat Kaur and Abhishek Banerjee as lead characters.
