Section 84: Nimrat Kaur to star alongside Amitabh Bachchan in this courtroom drama

Nimrat Kaur cannot keep calm as her dream of working with legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan comes true with the film Section 84.

The actress expressed her gratitude for the opportunity while making the announcement on her Instagram page.

Sharing a picture with the director Ribhu Dasgupta, Nimrat broke the news on social media with a candid caption. The caption read, "Mumbai sirf sapno ka shahar nehi hai, yahaan wo shahar hai jahaan sapne sakar hote hai..."

Nimrat added, "To be immortalised on screen between action and cut with Mr. Amitabh Bachchan is what this city has given to a small town girl with a very big dream."

The actress expressed her gratitude to Ribhu for the opportunity and called the collaboration "one of the most challenging creative adventures of my life. Let the sleepless nights begin!!!"

Starting her career with the film Yahaan in 2005, Nimrat is known for starring in offbeat films like The Lunchbox, Airlift, and Dasvi, as well as the web series The Test Case.

Nimrat is currently working on the film Happy Teacher's Day, which also stars Radhika Madan. The film is directed by National Award-winning director Mikhil Musale.

Section 84 is a courtroom drama that is written and directed by Ribhu Dasgupta of Te3n and The Girl On The Train fame. It is presented by Reliance Entertainment in association with Jio Studios and produced by Reliance Entertainment and Film Hangar.
