Apple TV dropped the trailer of the second season of its hit dystopian series See, starring Jason Momoa. Dave Bautista of Guardians of Galaxy fame has joined the cast for season 2 as Edo Voss, the brother of Jason Mamoa’s character Baba Voss.

The trailer promises the viewers to brace for a high octane and adventurous ride as your favourite characters will be put through some extreme suffering. Baba is more focused on keeping his family together but season 2 will look at the estranged relationship between the Voss brothers as Edo makes Baba’s life a living hell. The series will also see a rise of people with sight.

The show is set centuries after a virus in the 21st century wiped out most of the population, leaving only about two million people, but with no sight. In season 1, we saw Momoa protecting his two children, who possessed the gift of sight from external sources who considered them a “heresy”.

The series stars Hera Hilmar, Sylvia Hoeks, Archie Madekwe, Christian Camargo, Nesta Cooper, Olivia Cheng, Eden Epstein, Hoon Lee, Tom Mison David Hewlett, Tamara Tunie among others. Alfre Woodward is set to return as Paris as a series regular.

Momoa who gained fame with his role as Khal Drogo, chieftain of the Dothraki khalasar in Game of Thrones and went on to essay the role of Aquaman will also be seen in Netflix’s Sweet Girl in August. Bautista was recently seen in Army of the Dead and will be seen in Dune later this year.

See is slated to release on August 27 on Apple TV+ with new episodes dropping every Friday. Season 1 is currently available for streaming.
