See Video: Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli seeking blessings at Ujjain's Mahakaleshwar Temple

Cricketer Virat Kohli is busy gearing himself up for the upcoming test match against Australia. The said match will take place on March 9 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Just before that, he was spotted with his actress wife Anushka Sharma in the very famous Baba Mahakaleshwar Temple, as per a report in ANI. For the uninitiated, Baba Mahakaleshwar Temple is situated in Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain district.

Touted to be one of the ‘it’ couples of the B-town, both, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli also had participated in performing the traditional ‘Bhasma Aarti’(which is done with ashes). As per report, the said aarti is performed during the extremely auspicious time of ‘Brahma Muhurta’, which is between 4am till 5.30am. 

While Anushka Sharma was seen wearing a light colored saree, Virat Kolhi had opted to wear a traditional dhoti. Reports state that, after doing the traditional ‘Bhasma Aarti’, the husband-wife duo also spent some time praying inside the temple. Same report suggests that, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli also paid a visit to Swami Dayanand Giri Ashram.

As for Anushka Sharma, she has been missing from the silver screen for some time now after her last Bollywood release. She is now gearing herself up for one of the most awaited films of the recent times- ‘Chakda Xpress’. The film will see Anushka Sharma playing the role of one of the most iconic Indian pace woman bowler Jhulan Goswami. Ever since the time the film has got announced, the film has been making news for all the right reasons. At the same time, it’s pretty much evident from the social media updates that Anushka Sharma is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the film turns out to be a blockbuster at the box-office. This will be the first time when Anushka Sharma will be seen in the role of a cricketer. This film is being produced by Anushka Sharma’s brother Karnesh Sharma under the banner of ‘Clean Slate Filmz’.
