Seetha Payana, Action King Arjun Sarja’s return to direction after 2018’s Prema Baraha, is headed to theatres this Valentine’s Day. The film stars Arjun’s daughter Aishwarya in the lead, who is paired with Niranjan Sudhindra, the nephew of Real Star Upendra. The film is releasing as a trilingual, with versions in Kannada, Telugu and Tamil, and the trailer that came out on February 7, a week ahead of the theatrical outing has netizens wondering which language it was shot in.

The film, meanwhile, revolves around Seetha (Aishwarya), a chef, who sets out on a journey to thank the people who saved her after she met with an accident. Along the way, she meets Abhi (Niranjan) and as the duo travel together, they begin to bond. But will their budding relationship survive once Seetha becomes aware of the secret he’s been hiding?

Seetha Payana has Arjun in a pivotal role, while veterans like Prakash Raj, Kovai Sarala and Sathyaraj are also on board, as well as Dhruva Sarja in a special cameo. The film has music by Anup Rubens, who predominantly works in Telugu cinema. Arjun’s written the story, script and screenplay, and has said that he is immensely proud of the screenplay, as he’s tried something new with Seetha Payana.
