Sehari, an upbeat Telugu urban rom-com, is all set to entertain audiences at the theatres from February 11. The film stars first-time actor Harsh Kanumilli, Simran Choudhary in the lead and is directed by debutant Gnanasagar Dwaraka. Written by the male lead Harsh Kanumilli himself, Sehari also features Abhinav Gomatam, Praneeth Reddy, Anisha Alla, Akshitha Harish, Koti, Balakrishna in key roles. Advaya Jishnu Reddy is banrkolling the film under Virgo Pictures. The film's theatrical trailer was launched earlier today.
The trailer suggests that Harsh Kanumilli is on an endless hunt to find his soulmate. The male lead is very confused with his love life and presumes every girl in his life as his soulmate. He has more break-ups to his credit with little or no luck in love, until he meets his on-screen love interest Simran Choudary. The latter is a rare exception and a woman who truly understands his mind.
As fate would have it, Simran isn't only four years elder to him but is also the elder sister of his fiancée. Gnanasagar Dwaraka feels the story is catered to taste of young audiences but also adds that it's a wholesome entertainer that could be savoured by the entire family regardless of their age group. Harsh's screen presence certainly impresses while Simran apepars to have landed at a meaty role.
The camaraderie between Harsh, his friends, and his father played by composer Koti, makes for an entertaining watch. Nandu also makes a special appearance. Aravind Vishwanath is the cinematographer of the film which has music by the in-form composer Prashanth R Vihari. Ravi Teja Girijala handles the edits with Sahi Suresh in charge of the art direction team.
