Selfiee OTT release date: Where to watch Akshay Kumar-Emraan Hashmi's comedy-drama film after its theatrical run

Selfiee is the upcoming comedy-drama film starring Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi. Directed by Raj Mehta, it is an official Hindi remake of the 2019 Malayalam film Driving Licence also has Diana Penty and Nushrratt Bharuccha playing pivotal characters with Mrunal Thakur in a special appearance.

The story talks about a small misunderstanding that turns the superfan of a Bollywood star into his enemy. The film chronicles how their life turns upside down due to a small misunderstanding in an RTO office.

During a recent promotional event for the film, Akshay set a smashing Guinness World Record for taking the most number of selfies in three minutes. The actor took a total of 184 selfies with the fans at the event and establish the latest record.

Akshay shared this special news with his fans on social media with a post and an adorable caption that reads, "Everything I have achieved and where I am in life is due to the unconditional love of my fans. This is my special tribute to them, acknowledging how they have stood by me throughout my career. (sic)."

To make the movie even more special for Akshay fans, the makers have released the remixed version of the song Main Khiladi from the superstars' 1994 blockbuster, Main Khiladi Tu Anari.

Backed by Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Supriya Menon, Karan Johar, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Apoorva Mehta and Listin Stephen, the forthcoming flick also has Mahesh Thakur, Fahim Fazli, Tisca Chopra, Abhimanyu Singh, Kusha Kapila, Rahul Dev, Meghna Malik, Paritosh Tripathi, Abhishek Chouksey, Saharsh Kumar Shukla, Raghav Binani, Varun Sood and Astha Agarwal in supporting roles.

Selfiee is all set to hit cinemas on February 24, while it will be out on Disney+ Hotstar post its theatrical run.
