The shape of entertainment has taken a whole new turn since the pandemic forced filmmakers to release their films on OTT platforms and not in theatres. However, the sudden change in the medium of watching cinema has been accepted widely in the country. Now, even after a theatre release, a large group of audience wait for a movie to start streaming on a digital platform to watch it or re-watch it after its theatrical run.

Major OTT platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Apple+ to our homegrown ones like Zee5, Sony LIV, Voot and more, became one of the greatest sources to stream a movie online whenever and wherever.

Meanwhile, here is a curated list of web series that ought to be streamed this month on some of the major OTT platforms:

Thor: Love & Thunder (Disney+ Hotstar)

The latest MCU movie is the fourth instalment of the Thor series after Thor (2011), Thor: The Dark World (2013) and Thor: Ragnarok (2017). The Chris Hemsworth starrer talks about the after events of Avenger: Endgame and follows Thor's extraordinary journey on a quest for inner peace. 

Ek Villain Returns (Netflix)

The Mohit Suri directorial is a standalone sequel to the 2014 film of the same name. The latest movie, starring Arjun Kapoor, John Abraham, Tara Sutaria and Disha Patani, follows the story of two men stuck in their one-sided love stories.

Dhavak (Amazon Mini TV)

The Srishti Shrivastava starrer is an extraordinary tale of a small-town girl who aspires to become a successful racer to win other battles of her life and to inspire other women as well. The latest short film also features Vaibhav Talwar in a key role.

Cuttputlli (Disney+ Hotstar)

The Akshay Kumar starrer is an official Hindi remake of the Tamil language psychological crime thriller film, Ratsasan. The Ranjit M. Tewari directorial focuses on an aspiring filmmaker, who later becomes a police officer and comes across the most heinous and complicated case of his life after becoming an SI in Himachal Pradesh. Cuttputlli also stars Rakul Preet Singh in a major role along with Joshua LeClair, Chandrachur Singh and Sargun Mehta in key roles.
