Kalyani Priyadarshan’s Sesham Mikeil Fathima clashing with Basil Joseph’s Falimy

Distributed by Big Dream Films in Kerala and Sree Gokulam Movies worldwide, Sesham Mikeil Fathima is a highly anticipated female-led film, releasing on November 17. The Kalyani Priyadarshan-starrer is set to clash with Basil Joseph’s family drama film, Falimy at the box office. Meanwhile, Kalyani’s action drama Antony, helmed by Joshiy, is also releasing on the same day.

Sesham Mikeil Fathima’s plot

Sesham Mikeil Fathima revolves around a Muslim woman, named Fathima (Kalyani), who hails from Kerala’s Malappuram district. She aspires to become a football commentator. However, she is criticised for her Malabar ‘slang’, and is asked to improve her Malayalam speaking skills before pursuing her dreams as a commentator.

Going by the teaser, the film uses a unique and fresh concept, exploring the themes of passion and dreams, as well as breaking social stereotypes. Delving into such plot devices without compromising the authenticity of the narrative, but consciously deviating from the usual thriller and neo-noir plotlines, make this film a must-watch in cinemas near you!
