The trailer of Kalyani Priyadarshan’s highly anticipated sports comedy drama film has been released. The makers took to their social media handles to share the news. Helmed by debutant director Manu C Kumar, the movie stars Femina George, Shaheen Siddique and Parvathi T. Bankrolled by Sudhan Sundaram and Jagadish Palanisamy, under the banners of Passion Studios and The Route, the film revolves around Fathima, who dreams of becoming a football commentator. Sesham Mikeil Fathima is releasing on November 17.

In the trailer, Fathima (Kalyani) is portrayed as a girl-next-door character. She is a football enthusiast and is offered the opportunity to do commentary for a local football tournament, replacing someone who previously held the role. She embraces the position and earns the appreciation of her town’s residents. However, as she aspires to advance her dream, she encounters rejection due to being a Muslim woman, particularly because of her non-conventional Malayalam slang. The trailer suggests that the film’s core revolves around how Fathima overcomes stigma and defies social stereotypes to pursue her dreams.
Sesham Mikeil Fathima to clash with Falimy and Antony at the box office
Distributed by Big Dream Films in Kerala and Sree Gokulam Movies worldwide, Kalyani’s Sesham Mikeil Fathima is set to clash with Basil Joseph’s family drama Falimy at the box office on November 17. Interestingly, Kalyani’s action drama Antony, helmed by Joshiy, is also releasing on the same day.
