Taapsee Pannu starrer Shabaash Mithu is one of the highly anticipated sports dramas of the year. The makers have unveiled a much-awaited track from the film composed by Salvage Audio Collective & Charan. The song titled Fateh is crooned by Romy and Charan, while it has been penned by the latter.
The latest video chronicles Mithali Raj's life during her professional cricket days. Taapsee, who played the titular character, can be seen enjoying and celebrating the victory matches with her team. She can be seen pulling boundaries and scoring well on the field.
The montage also displays Taapsee practising hard during the day and the night as Mithali used to do during her matches. The ace cricketer along with her teammates' workouts in gyms as well.
A statement from the makers read, "The core of the song lies in the spirit of fighting against all odds and never giving up. Fateh is an ode to every young girl and woman out there, a call to arms to follow their dreams and put in the blood and sweat fearlessly because ‘dreams do come true!"

Shabaash Mithu chronicles the journey of the former captain of the Indian women's cricket team, who debuted at 16 and took the charge as captain at just 22 and brought her team to the forefront.
Last week, the former Indian cricketer shared the trailer of the film on her Instagram handle with a special caption that reads, "One game, One nation, One ambition… My Dream! Grateful to the team and excited to share my story with you all! Check out the #ShabaashMithuTrailer (sic)."

With Shabaash Mithu, Taapsee will be returning to the theatres for a Hindi film after two years. Her last big-screen release in Bollywood was Thappad, which hit screens in 2020.
The Srijit Mukherji directorial also has Vijay Raaz, Asad Ali Palijo, Shilpi Marwaha and Mumtaz Sorcar in key roles.
Shabaash Mithu is all set to hit the theatres on July 15.
