Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara to begin filming for Atlee’s next soon

Shah Rukh Khan is teaming up with one of the most exciting and successful young director’s from the South Indian industry, and it is exciting news. The latest news is that the actor will start shooting with Nayanthara for the movie soon. 

According to Times of India, Nayanthara will join Shah Rukh Khan for the movie’s latest schedule, which will begin next week in Mumbai and last for 10 days. Shah Rukh Khan had earlier shot for the film in Mumbai before he headed out for the international schedule of Pathaan. 

The movie, which is touted to be an action entertainer, went on floors in September in Pune. Atlee met the superstar during an Indian Premier League match, and the two decided to join hands. The actor did not want to do a remake, and so a story was written for him. 

The highly-anticipated movie was rumoured to be titled Lion, but there has been no official confirmation from the makers about this.

While this is the first time Atlee is helming a movie with the superstar, he has previously worked with the female lead. Nayanthara headlined Atlee’s debut film, Raja Rani, along with Arya. 

The report also suggests that Khan will begin work for Rajkumar Hirani’s next project in April. Rumours suggest Taapsee Pannu will co-star Shah Rukh Khan in the movie, but there is no official confirmation from the makers. 

Nayanthara recently wrapped up the filming of Vignesh Sivan’s Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal co-starring Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The actor also has Malayalam movie Gold and Telugu movie Godfather in the works.
