Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are the recent celebrities to join the lengthy list of Bollywood stars who have extended their support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the passing of his mother Heeraben. SRK and Salman through their Twitter account expressed their sincere condolences to PM. They expressed sorrow and prayed for the family.

"Heartfelt condolences to @narendramodi on the loss of his mother Heeraben ji. My family’s prayers are with you sir. May God bless her soul," King Khan shared on Twitter. 

On the other hand, Bhaijaan tweeted, "Dear Hon. PM Shri Narendrabhai Modi, I can feel your pain as there is no greater loss than loosing one’s mother. May God give u strength at this hour of need"

Early in the morning, the Prime Minister flew in from Delhi to pay his mother flower tributes. On Friday morning, Heeraben Modi, the mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, had her final rites performed at a crematorium in Gandhinagar. The "agnidah" was presented by Narendra Modi and his older brother Somabhai to Heeraben's mortal remains. At the hospital where she had been admitted on Wednesday, the prime minister said goodbye to his mother for the final time.

At the U.N. Mehta hospital in Ahmedabad, where she had been taken on Wednesday for various heart-related issues, Heeraben passed away. In a statement, the UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Center said: "Heeraba Modi passed away on December 30 at 3.30 a.m. (early morning) during the treatment at UN Mehta Heart hospital."

PM Modi too shared the news on social media. He wrote with a heavy heart, "A glorious century rests at the feet of God. In Maa, I have always felt that trinity, which contains the journey of an ascetic, the symbol of a selfless Karmayogi and a life committed to values."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in the movie Pathaan with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Additionally, he will appear in the action-entertainer Jawan directed by Atlee and the Rajkumar Hirani-helmed Dunki. The release of Dunki, which also stars Taapsee Pannu, is scheduled for December 2023, while the release of the pan-Indian film Jawan is scheduled for June 2, 2023.

Speaking of Salman Khan, he will be next seen in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The film will also star Pooja Hegde, Shehnaaz Gill, among others. The superstar also has Tiger 3 in his kitty with Katrina Kaif.
