Shah Rukh Khan's film Jawan hopes to end the day today by minting Rs 700 crores globally. As per the data available till 5 pm today evening, this action film had already minted Rs 680 crores on a worldwide scale.

These developments are truly historic! Clearly, it is not a secret why Shah Rukh Khan is popularly known as the ‘Badshah of Bollywood’.

Addressing a press conference in Mumbai today, the 57-year-old Bollywood Badshah expressed how he felt on the set of Jawan. Thanking the press, fans, and well-wishers for acknowledging the success of the film, SRK said, “Thank you, everyone, for being present here. Thank you press, fans for being here. It is a celebration of Jawan. Very seldom we get an opportunity ki ek film ke saath hum itne saalo se jeete hai. Jawan had been in the making for 4 years. Of course, because of Covid constraints!

Shah Rukh Khan even mentioned that a huge number of people were involved in the making of the film. He even mentioned that a bunch of the people shifted their work base from South India to Mumbai for as many as four years.

“There were so many people involved in this film, especially people down from the South (India) who came and shifted to Mumbai and have been living in Mumbai for the last 4 years – working day and night,” Shah Rukh Khan said.

Later, he thanked Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, Nayanthara, Sunil Grover, and the cast and crew of the film for their commendable efforts in creating ‘Jawan’.

The film 'Jawan' achieved impressive box office numbers, grossing approximately Rs 125 crore worldwide on its first day, followed by Rs 109 crore on the second day, Rs 140 crore on the third day, around Rs 157 crore on the fourth day, Rs 52.39 crore on the fifth day, Rs 38.21 crore on the sixth day, Rs 34.06 crore on the seventh day, and about Rs 28.79 crore on the eighth day. Shah Rukh Khan's movie is steadily approaching the remarkable milestone of crossing the Rs 700 crore gross mark.
