In January this year, Jhoome Jo Pathaan – a song from Shah Rukh Khan’s film Pathaan, set a world record after it was viewed by more than 600 million YouTube users in just one month. This song was sung by legendary singer Arijit Singh, Sukriti Kakar, Vishal and Sheykhar.

After the success of this song, many reputed movie buffs and music artists praised Arijit Singh.

To keep this energy alive, Shah Rukh Khan today revealed that the upcoming soundtrack of his upcoming movie, Jawan, has been sung by none other than Arijit Singh.

In a tweet today, a fan during the #AskSRK session questioned King Khan, “Is there a song by Arijit Singh in Jawan?” Replying to this question, Shah Rukh Khan confidently said, “Absolutely. Jahan main wahan Arijit dada toh honge hi na! #Jawan”

On this development, fans of Shah Rukh Khan bounced with happiness on Twitter. One Twitter user commented: “Chartbuster of the year!” Another user commented, “Arijit Singh × SRK blockbuster combo”

Arijit Singh, 36, is a legendary playback singer. He is a recipient of several accolades including a National Award. Interestingly, he was declared the most-streamed Indian artist of 2020, 2021, and 2022 by Spotify. He is also the third most followed artist globally and the most followed Asian on Spotify.

Apart from Jhoome Jo Pathaan, Singh also sang Phir Aur Kya Chahiye and Tere Vaaste from the movie Zara Hatke Zara Bachke this year. Both these songs, too, have received over 150 million views on YouTube.

In 2016, Arijit Singh, who is known for belting soul-stirring songs, once had a fallout with megastar Salman Khan. However, the tense situation eased out later.
