Today was indeed a historic day for each and every Indian. This was the day and date when two of the most historic events took place. The first event which took place was the iconic match between India and Pakistan at the ‘ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023’, in which India beat Pakistan in a very comfortable fashion.
The second event was that of the inauguration of the historic 141st International Olympic Committee (IOC) session at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai. The inauguration of the grand event was done by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi. For the unversed, India had held its first such session in New Delhi in 1983 and today’s session happens to be the second such session held in order to make important decisions regarding the Olympic Games’ future.
As a part of the grand inauguration, many Bollywood celebrities and sports persons had turned up. These celebrities included Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, sportswoman P T Usha and many others. The official handle of Shah Rukh Khan’s fan page shared a photograph which set the internet of fire since the very moment it was posted. The said photograph was that of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone who are seated next to each other, whereas, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are seated behind them.
In no time, the said photograph was filled with users’ comments from all over. While one user posted, “It’s awesome , my King”, there was another who wrote, “alia’s facial expression tells you everything about her character in the second part”. The epic comment was from a user who wrote, “SRK-Deepika-RK-Alia listening to brahmastra 2 script”.
For the unversed, in the Ayan Mukerji directed film ‘Brahmastra’, all of them were present as actors. While Deepika Padukone played Amrita, Shah Rukh Khan played the role of scientist Mohan Bhargav, Ranbir Kapoor played the role of Dev and Alia Bhatt played the role of Isha.
