Shah Rukh Khan is currently making headlines for his much-awaited upcoming film, Jawan. The film, directed by Atlee also stars Nayanthara as the female lead. But in the midst of all these, on Saturday afternoon, a lot of police presence was set up outside Shah Rukh Khan's opulent Mannat mansion in Mumbai. Read on to know why!

Reason for Police security outside SRK's Mannat

Mumbai Police security was set up outside the superstar's house, several individuals gathered to protest SRK for supporting online gaming apps. The protesters believed that celebrities shouldn't promote these apps since they mislead and corrupt young people. According to the Untouch Youth Foundation, a demonstration will be held in opposition to websites and game apps like Junglee Rummy, Zupee, and others.

According to an official statement from the group that organized the protest read: "Famous actors and actress work in these advertisements and they are working towards misguiding the society. The protest will be held outside Shah Rukh Khan's Mannat bungalow on behalf of Untouch India Foundation."

Krishchandra Adal, the President of Untouch India Foundation, stated: "The new generation is involved in playing Junglee rummy. If someone is playing Junglee rummy or gambling outside, the police arrest them, but big Bollywood stars promoting online games are misleading the young generation. The Bollywood stars also know it is wrong, but they are getting money so they are promoting them. We make these stars famous by watching their movies and spending our money on them. We demand these advertisements to stop. These apps are illegal, we can not find them on Google, but these apps are uploaded on private web sites."

"Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, we oppose Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, Prakash Raj, Annu Kapoor, Rana Daggubati and cricketers who promote the online game. We wanted to protest outside the houses of these stars as well, but the police detained us," he added.

SRK's work front

Meanwhile, on the work front, the actor is all set for the release of his upcoming film Jawan. Post that, he will also be seen in Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki.
