Rajkumar Hirani's London-bound adventure stirs nostalgia with a DDLJ touch.
As soon as the Dunki trailer dropped, many on the Internet drew parallels from his 1995 film, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Aditya Chopra directed the film, which features Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol and is considered a classic. The older version of the superstar's character wears a yellow and blue-striped T-shirt in Dunki, reminiscent of his attire in the entry sequence of DDLJ.
Shah Rukh Khan responds to a fan's query
During an "Ask SRK" session on X (formerly known as Twitter), someone asked him, "@iamsrk, somewhere in between, we all grew up... How does it feel when you see edits like this one?"
To which the superstar replied, "Life is a run. I am so glad that even after 11 surgeries, I can still run the same, and my same t-shirt fits me just fine!!"
