Shah Rukh Khan on Gauri Khan: Will force her to give me a discounted makeover for my space

Shah Rukh Khan joked that he isn't getting any attention from his wife, Gauri Khan, since she is too busy redesigning everything else besides his room. He attended an event on Monday evening to promote the coffee table book My Life in Design by Gauri Khan, for which he penned the foreword.

SRK states in the book's introduction, "I am excited to see what she has included in her book, and if by chance she has designed some space better than what she has done for me, I will force her to give me a discounted makeover for my space."

Gauri is a film producer and a well-known interior designer; her book details her career development and features never-before-seen photos of her and her family, including her three children, Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan, and AbRam Khan.

The book includes never-before-seen photographs of Mannat, the Khans' former mansion in Mumbai, and a heritage site, as well as details about the design process behind Mannat and other important projects. It also features Mannat in all its glory, from the library where the Badshah of Bollywood spends much of his day to the family's preferred area to catch up after work. Gauri also offers advice to individuals who want to follow in her footsteps and to non-designers who are curious about the creative process.

SRK, whose comeback film Pathaan was a smashing success both at home and abroad, is currently relishing in the reflected light of his triumph. His upcoming projects include Jawan with Nayanthara by Atlee and Dunki with Taapsee Pannu by Rajkumar Hirani. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif star in Tiger 3, which also features King Khan.

Jawan's release date has been rescheduled to September 7, 2023, whereas Dunki is set for a December 23, 2023, release.
