Shah Rukh Khan is set to be back on the big screen after a wait of four long years. The superstar, who has made three special appearances in films this year, will be seen playing the titular role of Pathaan in Siddharth Anand's directorial. On SRK's birthday, November 2, a teaser for the action thriller was unveiled, which made fans very happy. The very same day, the actor met up with a few of his fans at an event in Mumbai.
One of the fans asked him about his three forthcoming films, Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki. To which Shah Rukh stated, "So all three are very new for me." Shooting them back-to-back is a great experience because all three are very different for me as an actor. I'm enjoying all of them. Pathaan will be arriving soon, and, Mashallah, it looks really good from what little I have seen of the film. I have seen bits and pieces of Dunki and Jawan too."
The superstar added, "Hopefully these will be films that have been made to order for all of you, because I think it's important that I entertain you with what you want to see. Rather than sometimes experimenting with what I want to say, I would only want to speak your (the fans') language. So I think that's what the attempt is, and hopefully next year, all of you will enjoy going to the theaters."
Talking about Pathaan, the film also features Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead roles. Produced by Aditya Chopra under his home banner, Yash Raj Films, the much-awaited film is hitting the big screen on January 25, 2023.
Jawan, directed by Atlee, also stars Nayanthara as the female lead and will be released in June 2023. Moreover, Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki has Taapsee Pannu opposite SRK. The movie will have a Christmas 2023 release.
