Confessing he didn't watch Aamir and Salman's cameos till recently, SRK stated, "Maine nahi dekha tha jaise Aamir Vada Pav Idli Sambhar ka karta hai - I found it really hilarious. Salman also calling it 'bullshit party' proved how much they were joking and enjoying. I found it really funny and interesting. Inshallah, they make a second season."

"I didn't get to thank them personally, but the graciousness that the actors like Aamir, Salman, Ranbir, Ranveer, Karan Johar, Emraan Hashmi, Arshad showed and how they're okay being themselves while understanding that the show is in the zone of a satire," Shah Rukh Khan said, clarifying that the series is not based on real-life personalities but it is a satire made purely for entertainment purpose. He further expressed his gratitude for how the current generation is more accepting of the kind of humour he and now his son share. "People understand my sense of humour now. Earlier, they used to be 'woke' when I joked on stage. I'm really happy my son has that sense of humour, and to see how the world has changed to understand it," SRK shared.

"When Aryan told me about the 'Ghante Ka Badshah' scene," SRK recalled and started laughing while explaining how the scene was actually a mistake with singer Badshah. The same was his reaction to his own popular cameo in the series.

Shah Rukh Khan further recalled shooting his cameo till midnight with Aryan alone, since his son did nearly 20 takes for the shot. "Aryan shoots a lot, so we were really happy working with him. It was great fun to see your own kid come. It was very interesting to listen to him. He did 15-20 takes till 3 am. It was like 'ghar ki murgi dal barabar for him. He got everyone to pack up, but at 3.30-4 am, he asked me for 'one more take' again and again," the superstar shared. He also recalled his concerns with the scene, and the relief that followed by stating, "I like to give my cues, so when it came to other actors also, I was standing there for 2-3 hours. We found it really funny when we saw it before the release. We were a little worried whether the humour would land, but I'm so happy that everybody accepted it."
