Shah Rukh Khan joins Marvel?
Shah Rukh Khan might be a part of Marvel Cinematic Universe. The rumour started when a handle named @MarvelLeaks22 shared a photo of SRK and hinted at an ongoing conversation with the Pardes actor. "Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) is rumoured to be in early talks with Marvel Studios for a role in a future project (Not Avengers Doomsday)," the tweet read.
Anthony Mackie, Benedict Cumberbatch hoped SRK would join MCU
When asked to name a Bollywood actor for MCU, Anthony Mackie, who played Falcon in the franchise (most popular for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier), named Shah Rukh Khan as 'the damn best.' He expressed his desire to see SRK as the next avenger and who knows, it might just come true. Apart from Anthony, 'Doctor Strange' Benedict Cumberbatch also wished to see the Bollywood superstar in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
When Ms. Marvel explored desi connection
Ms. Marvel was one of the first MCU series to have a lot of desi connections, including that with the Karan Arjun actor. The show featured his Swades song Yeh Jo Des Hai Tera. Apart from that, the desi connection was Farhan Akhtar's debut in MCU with the very series.
Shah Rukh Khan's confirmed projects
SRK's confirmed projects include Aryan Khan's directorial debut, Ba***ds of Bollywood. The actor, who made a smashing Bollywood comeback with Pathaan and Jawan in 2023, will also be seen in King. Although he is also confirmed for Tiger vs Pathaan featuring him with Salman Khan, there's no update on when the film would actually take off.
