Shah Rukh Khan just recreated his Devdas dialogue and gave it a funny twist. Not only SRK, Sunil Grover, who was co-hosting the awards show with the superstar, went funny for the dialogue. It is sure to make you laugh out loud and at the same time, make you adore them. The dialogue was originally between SRK and Aishwarya. This time, Sunil portrays the role of Aishwarya’s Paro and dresses up like her for the same.
SRK’s dialogue
During his dialogue, Shah Rukh Khan stumbled. It happened when he wanted to be intensely romantic but realized that Sunil Grover, a man dressed up as a woman, is in front of him. Blushing, he changed his finger’s direction from Sunil to the audience.

He then went on to recreated the diya scene, but this time with a candle. “Bujhaane ke bade kacche ho Dev babu,” Sunil said. He reminded Dev of not being able to blow off either the diya or the candle.
The dialogue recreated was originally between Shah Rukh Khan’s Dev and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Paro. It was also a reference from the song Silsila Yeh Chahat Ka from the movie.
About Devdas
Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Devdas is the Hindi recreation of the Bengali classic. The film is adapted from the 1917 novel by Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay of the same name. The Shah Rukh Khan-Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-Madhuri Dixit starrer released in 2002 and also starred Jackie Shroff and Kirron Kher. While SRK and Aishwarya played long-lost lovers in the movie, Madhuri was seen in the role of a courtesan who falls in love with Dev. Jackie plays Dev’s friend and Kirron is seen in the role of Aishwarya’s mother.
