Shah Rukh Khan reveals Jawan plot and it will make all of his female fans proud

Shah Rukh Khan has just spilled a minor (or major, you decide) detail on his upcoming movie, Jawan. The actor revealed what the movie is about (or at least what part of its premise is) during his Q&A session on Twitter. SRK’s revelation is sure to make all of his female fans proud that he associated himself with such a film. That is how beautifully the actor put across what the upcoming Atlee directorial is all about.

What did SRK say?

A fan asked Shah Rukh Khan to share a tease about the movie, Jawan. While initially hesitant, the superstar did share a detail about the film. “No tease, the one word that drives the movie is ‘Women’ it’s a film about women made for men!! Hope all like the Mass and Class…. #Jawan,” he posted on Twitter.

Did he hint at what the plot of the film is?

Many have gone on to guess that the plot of Jawan is similar to that of the Malayalam film, Jailer. There, one jailer stays with five female criminals who have done different kinds of crime. He stays with them to help these women refine and make better choices in life. After SRK pointed out that women are going to be the core of the film, the speculations are sure to grow stronger.

What do we know about Jawan so far

Jawan is helmed by Atlee. It is SRK-Atlee’s first collaboration film. The movie also marks Nayanthara’s debut in Bollywood. She plays the female lead in the movie. Vijay Sethupathi is also a part of the film in a surprise role. Deepika Padukone makes a special appearance in the movie. Sanjay Dutt is also expected to be a part of the film. Apart from them, Sanya Malhotra and Priyamani play pivotal roles in the film.

Interestingly, Jawan will see SRK in dual roles. One of his characters is named Raj Vardhan and the other is a commando named Vikram. The film is slated to release in theatres on September 7, 2023.
