Mufasa: The Lion King, which is scheduled to be released in theatres on December 20, is literally a family affair for Shah Rukh Khan. The actor has dubbed for the film in Hindi with his sons Aryan and AbRam Khan. However, SRK also spilled that his daughter Suhana Khan was involved with the project. Here’s what he said…
Shah Rukh Khan, speaking of the difference in dubbing for The Incredibles vs. The Lion King. He shares that it was tougher dubbing for The Incredibles (SRK dubbed for Mr. Lajawaab, while his son Aryan dubbed for Tez) as compared to The Lion King.
The commonality he found is that both his sons Aryan and AbRam Khan (while dubbing for The Lion King) had a lot of patience while working. The superstar was unsure whether that would be possible at their young age. "They prepared a lot. They learned all their lines in Hindi," SRK shared.
Talking of the difference between the two boys dubbing, SRK recalled how everybody would talk in Hindi at the time Aryan was growing up. Thus, he got the upper hand and could nail his Hindi dialogues.
Shah Rukh Khan believes that a decade later, people are more into speaking English. He, however, is happy that his youngling would take interest and learn his 25 lines with Suhana.
SRK talks of how he believes Aryan's voice is extremely different from The Incredibles. He wishes to feel the same way a decade later for AbRam.
The superstar calls it a great memory to have the voices of Aryan and AbRam with him in a movie for the keeps (on record).
Shah Rukh Khan dubs for the elder Mufasa in The Lion King, while Aryan and AbRam dub Simba and the younger Mufasa, respectively.
