After attending the Toronto International Film Festival 2023 for the premiere of Kill, the first thing Karan Johar did after touching down in the country was watch Jawan. The filmmaker took to his Instagram page and heaped praiseworthy words about the film, director Atlee, and, of course, Shah Rukh Khan. Now, the superstar took to his X page and replied to Karan for his sweet words.

"Audience is the Emperor"

Shah Rukh wrote on X that he was thrilled Karan liked the film. His post read, "Karan, I'm thrilled you liked the film. & of course the trailer... all the ‘century’ things you said. Ha ha. @Atlee_dir and his full team have genuinely catered to what the audience feels and thinks. Made them abandon everything and come and fall in love with themselves. The audience is the Emperor! (sic)"

Take a look at SRK's post below:

Karan's praiseworthy post for Jawan:

For the uninitiated, Karan couldn't stop praising Jawan on his Instagram page. He started by writing, "OMFG!!!!! I am late to this party! But what a party this is! @atlee47 hits it out of the stadium... It’s the kind of adrenaline-rush film with big emotion that Indian cinema embodies, and this film perfects it! I was blown away by the cinematic audacity of each frame!"

The filmmaker went on to state that both Priya Mani and Sanya Malhotra were so good in the film, along with the entire ensemble. He also called Nayanthara "gorgeous and fabulous" while praising her, and he also wrote that Vijay Sethupathi was also brilliant.

Karan added, "I was mesmerised by Deepika Padukone; she brought so much gravitas to her part and owned it like a bona fide veteran! (sic)"

About Shah Rukh, the filmmaker called him not just an irreplaceable force of nature but also a superstar who represents megastardom in a way that only he can! KJo wrote, "He’s the emperor, and we bow down in admiration."
