Shah Rukh Khan shares his wishes to the team of Beast; says he is a big fan of Vijay

Nelson’s Beast starring Vijay and Pooja Hegde in the lead is one of the biggest South Indian movies to release this year. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is the latest celebrity name to talk about the upcoming actioner. 

Shah Rukh Khan took to social media to share his wishes to the team of Beast. Sharing the Hindi trailer of Beast (titled Raw), the star wrote, “Sitting with @Atlee_dir who is as big a fan of @actorvijay as I am. Wishing the best for beast to the whole team…trailer looks meaner…. Leaner… stronger!! (sic)”. 

Khan is currently working with director Atlee for a movie, co-starring Nayanthara. Atlee has previously worked with Vijay in Theri, Mersal and Bigil. All three movies were commercial hits, with Theri and Mersal receiving positive reviews. 

Written and directed by Nelson, Beast is an action-comedy that is set in a mall that has been hijacked by terrorists. Vijay plays a spy in the movie, who is trapped in the mall and has to find ways to save the hostages. 

Backed by Kalanithi Maran, the movie also stars Pooja Hegde, Selvaraghavan, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, and Lilliput Faruqui among others. The movie, which is one of the most-anticipated South Indian movies, is set to hit theatres on April 13. 

With music by Anirudh Ravichander, the two singles released so far from the movie have been big hits among the fans. The first single, titled Arabic Kuthu, has over 269 million views on YouTube.
