There’s a reason Shah Rukh Khan is called King Khan. The Bollywood superstar lavished praise for two of biggest stars from South – Ram Charan and Vijay – for launching the Tamil and Telugu version of Pathaan’s trailer.

SRK took to his social media page to first thank RRR star Ram Charan, who is already in the news for the SS Rajamouli’s chances of bringing home an Oscar or a Golden Globe award this year. This wasn’t lost on the Bollywood star either.

Shah Rukh tweeted, “Thank you so much my Mega Power Star. When you RRR team brings Oscar to India, please let me touch it.” He topped the tweet with a Telugu translation too. Ram Charan had earlier in the day, released the Telugu trailer of the Siddharth Anand directorial, which also has John Abraham and Deepika Padukone. The RRR actor also had a special message for Shah Rukh, saying that he was “looking forward to seeing” the Jawaan star in action sequences like never before.

Talking about Jawaan, which is helmed by Atlee, his frequent collaborator and Tamil superstar Vijay too had released the Tamil version of the trailer of Pathaan, which is set to hit theatres in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on January 25.

The Bollywood star took to Twitter to extend his gratitude to Vijay, who is awaiting the release of his big budget entertainer Varisu. “You are Thalapathy for this humble reason, let’s meet for delicious feast soon,” wrote SRK. There were unconfirmed reports that Vijay would be seen in a cameo role in SRK’s next film Jawaan, which also features Nayanthara’s Bollywood debut.

The trailer of Pathaan, meanwhile, has been trending since its release earlier in the day. Packed with action sequences, the trailer is sure to keep the hype for the movie. While many fans were also awaiting to see a glimpse of Salman Khan’s Tiger in the trailer, they were disappointed. However, there was enough thrilling scenes to keep die-hard fans of SRK, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone intrigued.
