Shah Rukh Khan to celebrate Karan Johar's 25th year in Bollywood by launching Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani teaser tomorrow

Karan Johar is all set for his directorial comeback Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Starring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Shabana Azmi, Dharmendra and Jaya Bachchan, the film releases on July 28, 2023. This year also marks Karan’s 25th year in the film industry as a director & to celebrate the same, the filmmaker is launching the film's teaser tomorrow i.e. June 20. 

Now, it has been reported that the teaser will be launched by Shah Rukh Khan to celebrate his close friend Karan’s 25th year in the industry. Pinkvilla quoted, “Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar go a long way and it’s great of SRK to come on board to digitally launch the teaser.” SRK will be launching the teaser digitally amidst high excitement among fans. 

Shah Rukh and Karan go way back. The duo has collaborated on several projects together. In fact, Karan started off his journey in Bollywood with SRK as he was the lead in his first two directorials - Kuch Kuch Hota Hai & Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Post this, the two worked together on several films and went on to become close friends. 

Karan, whose last directorial was 2016’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, raised excitement for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani as he shared a new poster of Alia and Ranveer this morning as he revealed the teaser-launch date. The filmmaker wrote, "It’s just the beginning of this ERA OF LOVE!❤️ #RockyAurRaniKiiPremKahaani TEASER OUT TOMORROW! Set your reminders now!"
