It's been a day since Brahmastra was released, and the people who have watched it have a lot of opinions. The film is directed by Ayan Mukerji and features Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. But one of the stars who stole the show in the fantasy drama is Shah Rukh Khan. The superstar has a special appearance in the film wherein he features as a scientist.
Spoilers ahead... SRK is also the Vanarastra in the film, and the film kicks off with his sequence. But you know what everyone was surprised by? The character name of the superstar is Mohan Bhargav, and he is a space scientist. Ring a bell? Shah Rukh's character is inspired by one of his iconic roles in Ashutosh Gowariker's Swades.
The moment Shah Rukh comes on screen, a lot of theatres witness people hooting and cheering for him. Not only that, even netizens made sure they expressed their happiness on seeing their favourite star onscreen just before he created a bang with Pathaan in January 2023.

Meanwhile, talking more about his role in Brahmastra, there's also one interesting trivia about Mukerji and the film. The filmmaker was an assistant director on the sets, and he is also the brother-in-law of Gowariker.
Brahmastra is the first film in the trilogy planned, and the title of the sequel is Brahmastra Part 2: Dev. The first instalment also has another special appearance by Nagarjuna Akkineni, and he plays the role of an artist. Dimple Kapadia also stars as one of the members of Brahmansh alongside Bachchan.
Whereas Mouni Roy plays the main antagonist in this instalment, her character is named Junoon.
Talking about Shah Rukh, he will be seen on the big screen after four years. The superstar plays the titular role of Pathaan in the Siddharth Anand directorial, which also stars John Abraham as the villain and Deepika Padukone as the female lead. The film is released on January 25, 2023.
