Shah Rukh Khan’s character in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki has a link with Atlee’s Jawan? Here’s what we know

With his action spectacular Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan has officially launched this year for Bollywood at the box office. While people are still raving about the movie, he is almost through with Atlee's next high-octane action drama, Jawaan. But let's also not forget Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki, SRK's third and most anticipated film this year and we are here with a new update from the film.

Since its announcement in April 2022, Hirani's movie has piqued everyone's interest with its intriguing title. Now that additional information about the movie is out, you'll undoubtedly be astonished and amazed.

'Jawan' is connected to Shah Rukh Khan's character from 'Dunki', if rumours are to be believed. 

According to an exclusive story in Times Of India, the Jawan actor will wear a uniform for Hirani's movie. In the movie, he plays an Army Jawan. This update was given to the press exclusively by a person close to the movie. The source then disclosed that although there were hints regarding his character in the announcement video, nobody ever took the time to look for them.

“SRK is very excited to wear the uniform again. In fact, if you see the announcement video, there are hints from his fatigue pants to his green t-shirt. It is a look that army guys wear when they are traveling or resting.”, said the source.

It's interesting to note that Shah Rukh Khan began his acting career in 1988 as an Army Jawan in the Doordarshan series Fauji. In the films Main Hoon Naa by Farah Khan and Jab Tak Hai Jaan by Yash Chopra, he portrayed an army officer. His fourth appearance as an army officer will be in Dunki. 

Meanwhile, Rajkumar Hirani movie starring Shah Rukh Khan is scheduled for release in December 2023.
