Filmmaker Guddu Dhanoa confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan's Deewana to get a sequel. He also shared an update on making Bichhoo 2.

Big news for all the Shah Rukh Khan fans. Filmmaker Guddu Dhanoa confirmed that the 1992 film is all set to get a sequel. Deewana stars SRK, Divya Bharti, Rishi Kapoor, Amrish Puri, and others. Notably, King Khan made his big screen debut with Deewana in 1992 and now the news of the film is confirmed getting a sequel, made fans super happy.
Speaking to News18, veteran filmmaker and Dharmendra’s first cousin, Guddu Dhanoa, revealed that Deewana is getting a sequel and work is already in progress. He shared, "Yes, Deewana 2 is very much happening. We’re currently in the scripting stage. There’s still some time before the film goes on floors as my web series will release before that." Notably, Guddu produced Deewana in 1992.

The filmmaker also shared an important update on Bichhoo 2. He said, "My film Bichhoo earned a lot of love. We’re extremely keen on making Bichhoo 2 and the script for the same is also in the works."
Dhanoa is currently gearing up for the release of his next directorial Romeo S3 on May 16,

Deepika is reportedly playing an extended cameo as the mother of Suhana Khan's character in King. Meanwhile, the film is reportedly scheduled to be released in the last quarter of 2026.
