Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dunki' onboards Pen Mardudhar?

With smash hits like ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan’ under his belt, it totally becomes needless to say that, all the eyes are now trained on his next film ‘Dunki’. Even before the film’s release, trade pundits all over have already started placing their best on this potential blockbuster. Many have already hailed it as the ‘career-best’ film of Shah Rukh Khan, in terms of the box office collections. Adding to the excitement, the film’s makers have now got the well-known distributor Pen Marudhar on board for ‘Dunki’, as per a source-based report in Bollywood Hungama.

Leaving no stone unturned for 'Dunki'

The said report stated that, post the huge success of ‘Jawan’, Pen Marudhar is planning to have the film ‘Dunki’ get a wide release across the country and that the last few months have witnessed many meetings between Shah Rukh Khan and Gaurav Verma (the film’s co-producer). It has laso being reported that, the outcome of the many meetings was that Pen Marudhar and Gaurav Verma have promised to give ‘Dunki’ a larger scale release than the Prabhas starrer ‘Salaar’. Additionally, the report also added that, film maker Rajkumar Hirani and Jio have shown immense faith in the model of Shah Rukh Khan and his team.

Who are Pen Marudhar?

Pen Marudhar is a company that was formed in the year 2018. They are known for their strategic distribution of Bollywood & Hollywood content. They have even strategically partnered with production houses like Bhansali Productions, Red Chillies Ent., T-Series, Balaji Motion Pictures, Pooja Entertainment, and Jio Studios.

As for ‘Salaar’, it will be released on December 22 this year, which also happens to be the release date of Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dunki’.
