According to the recent reports, the movie has already made a stunning Rs 21.14 crore in India.
Jawan overtakes Gadar 2
The Shah Rukh Khan-starring movie has now outperformed SRK's own Pathaan in terms of pre-sales for a Hindi film this year. The movie has overtaken Gadar 2 in the advance booking market as well, breaking the previous record set by the Sunny Deol-starring movie just last month.

According to the trade website sacnilk, as of now, Jawan has amassed a gross revenue of more over Rs 21.14 crore from just advance in India. This is more than Gadar 2, which had opening day advance bookings of approximately Rs 17.60 crore gross. With a pre-sales business of over Rs 31 crore gross for the first day at the Box Office, Pathaan has continued to shine the brightest which may also be passed by Jawan in the upcoming days.
As of September 5, 6 am, more than seven lakh tickets have been sold for Jawan. The Hindi version, which sold almost 6.7 lakh tickets and had a revenue of about Rs 19.45 crore, has brought in the most money.
Also, Janmashtami is a holiday in most of the country, there will be a lot of advance booking activity on Wednesday, 6th September, which will also open the possibility of a walk-in audience on the day of release. On Thursday, Jawan will aim for a record opening, with estimates for Hindi-language sales of around Rs 50-55 crore net. The sum for all languages in India is anticipated to be between Rs 60 and 65 crore.

Shah Rukh Khan and filmmaker Atlee work together for the first time on the film Jawan. Nayanthara makes her Bollywood debut with it as well.
