Shah Rukh Khan's Pathan sidelines latest Telugu releases at the Tollywood box office

Pathaan's success has once again proved that no one can beat Shah Rukh Khan when it comes to box office numbers and crowd pulling. The manner in which the film is smashing one record after the other is there for us all to see. The action drama which was released on 25th January was also dubbed in Tamil and Telugu and opened with solid occupancy.

In Telugu, the film is seeing good collections in the Hyderabad area especially. The Siddharth Anand film has pushed aside last week's Telugu releases like Hunt out of the race in no time. The Sudheer Babu film could not face the wrath of Pathaan and is out of several screens already and some of which have already been given to the SRK film.

The other biggies, Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy which were going great guns also slowed down thanks to Pathaan's craze. As of now, it is only Pathaan in the Hyderabad region which is dominating the box office. The Telugu distributors have also made handsome money from this film which also had John Abraham and Deepika Padukone in ker roles.

Shah Rukh Khan has revealed in his latest meeting with the press that he wanted to do an action film for a long time now and when TRF and Siddharth pitched Pathaan to him he went all out. Yash Raj Films has made terrific money with this film and are super happy that Bollywood's drought at the box office will finally end with Pathaan.
