Shahid Kapoor drops major hint about his character in Amazon Prime Video's web series; details inside

Shahid Kapoor plans to make up for lost time from the previous two years in 2022. In addition to returning to the big screen with Jersey, he will make his digital debut with Raj-DK's yet-untitled series. A new project is always a thrilling possibility. The actor also has the guarantee that he will be guided by two of the most inventive storytellers from the current crop for his digital debut. Kapoor boasted to Mid Day that he had two smart men with him.

The actor said that this was his first foray into long-form storytelling. Structuring one's character in the knowledge that it will endure four to five hours is a novel experience. What's the best way to make the part? What will people think of him? The audience can pause the show at any time and go about their day-to-day activities, explained Kapoor while talking about the web series format. These ideas assist one in approaching something they have been doing for a long time in a new way.

Aside from the fact that it stars Vijay Sethupathi and Raashii Khanna, little is known about Amazon Prime Video's offering. Kapoor describes his character as "Mumbai ka launda," giving a glimpse of his personality. 

The actor explained that his character is a Mumbai street kid who needs to labor hard to make ends meet. The actor could identify with his character because he was the same person when he was dancing with Shiamak Davar before his Bollywood breakthrough. Kapoor revealed that he used to attempt to save money by using the train. From the age of 16 to 21, he lived that life. 

The Kabir Singh star called his character "edgy".

Working with Raj-DK has confirmed a long-held opinion. Kapoor said that working with people who are at the top of their game and who motivate one to do outstanding work is ideal.

He further shared that one should be surrounded by knowledgeable individuals. With time, one realizes how important these things are. The fact that he'll be sharing screen time with Sethupathi is the icing on the cake. 

Kapoor concluded by saying that he had liked Vijay's work for a long time. They just had two to three hours together to shoot, and the Jersey actor called the South Star a wonderful performer.
