Shahid Kapoor reveals whether Farzi 2 is in the making; says, ‘I am sure...’

Farzi, a dark comedy series, was created, produced, and directed by Raj and DK in partnership with Sita Menon and Suman Kumar as screenwriters. Starring Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, and Raashii Khanna, the series follows a talented artist's descent into the world of counterfeit money. Released on Amazon Prime Video on February 10, 2023, the eight-part series received generally positive reviews. In view of these positive reviews, Shahid Kapoor has spilled the beans on whether Farzi 2 is in the making.

Shahid Kapoor reveals if Farzi 2 is in the making

Speaking with Forbes India, Shahid outlined his future projects. He said, “Whether there will be a Season 2 of Farzi or not is a great question. I don’t have the answer. Raj and DK have to write it. Going by what it (Farzi’s success) did, I am quite sure there will be a second season. And I am quite sure I’ll be a part of it.”

“There are multiple other films that are yet to be announced. The producers will take a call on it. I don’t want to jump the gun,” he wrapped up.

What did Raashii Khanna say about Farzi?

In a recent social media interaction, Raashii Khanna shared that she spoke with Raj and DK, the creators of the web series Farzi. They stated that filming for Farzi 2 is set to begin early next year, potentially leading to a release by the end of 2025.

Farzi: A tale of a disheartened artist's descent into crime
