Amazon Prime Video's latest Hindi series Farzi seems to have found a lot of takers beyond India. The series seems to be among the top choices of Prime Video subscribers in the U.S., UK, Canada, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia.

Farzi, which is Hindi for fake, is an eight-episode series that tells the story of a struggling painter and his rise as a superstar in the world of counterfeit currency. The series features Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor in the lead. And Shahid's performance was appreciated by both critics and audiences alike. Vijay Sethupathi played the co-lead in the series. His grounded performance as a maverick police officer has also garnered a lot of appreciation. It also stars Raashi Khanna, Kay Kay Menon and Amol Palekar in key roles.
The second season of Farzi is already in the works. Raj and DK will start the production after the complete Indian adaptation of Citadel and season 3 of The Family Man.
