Shaitaan box office collection day 5 - Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan starrer surpasses Rs. 60 crores (India collection)

Right from the very moment the news about Ajay Devgn to be seen in one frame with R Madhavan was announced, the audiences just could not hold on to their excitement to see two of the stellar actors in one frame. The film was ‘Shaitaan’. The very fact that R. Madhavan was to play a negative role in the film, becoming like an icing on the cake. 

Shaitaan crosses Rs. 60 crore mark in India!

All of these factors and much more contributed to the film being received extremely positively by the audiences. Speaking about the film’s response, after having made Rs. 54 crore in India in its first three days, the film has now managed to surpass the Rs. 60 crore mark in India!

Shaitaan doing really well in domestic markets

As per the latest update on the ever-reliable Sacnilk.com website, the film’s collections have now crossed the Rs. 60 crore mark in India. This also means that the film is doing really well in the domestic markets. At the same time, the flip side of the story is that there is a considerable drop on the overall collections of the film.

Looking back at the days gone by ever since the time the film had got released, the film Shaitaan managed to collect an estimated Rs. 15 crores on its opening day. This was followed by the film minting Rs 18.75 crore on its second day after release. As for the third day, the film’s collections stood at 54 crore.

As for the film Shaitaan, it has been directed by Vikas Bahl. And leading the film are the trio of stellar actors in the form of Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan and the southern superstar Jyothika, whose performance has been extremely appreciated by the audiences. The film is a Hindi remake of the superhit Gujarati film titled Vash, which starred Hitu Kanodia, Niilam Paanchal, Janki Bodiwala, Aaryab Sanghvi and Hiten Kumar. And, in Shaitaan, it is the same Janki Bodiwala who has done a splendid performance.
