Shaitan is created by the super talented Mahi V Raghav, who last gave us the fun family show Save The Tigers on Hotstar. Speaking at the event, he said " I've worked on 4-5 films, and none of them had censorship issues, nudity, or coarse language but this one has everything. When you watch our trailer, you will notice that it contains strong words that are used to tell a strong story."

Adding further he says "Shaitan is a crime drama and it will shock you big time. We previously worked on Save The Tigers with Disney Hotstar, which is completely different and Shaitan will target a different set of audiences altogether. The show is only for those who love gritty dramas. We had a lot of constraints while making this show and we could make it simple because everyone was very well prepared"

Actress Deviyani, who last played a lawyer in Save The Tigers plays a very bold role in Shaitan. Speaking about her experience, Deviyani says " I had the most difficult role in this series, and I'd like to thank Mahi V Raghav sir for giving me this opportunity. Everyone loved me in Save The Tigers and now they will be shocked to see me in such a contrasting role".
