Shambhala OTT release date: When, where to stream Aadi Saikumar's mystic thriller

Shambhala is Aadi Saikumar’s comeback film, which had to click at any cost, and it did, bringing him back into the game with a bang. Right from the day the film’s trailer was released, there was a lot of hype around the mystical thriller, and it delivered.

We at OTTplay have already revealed that Aha has bagged the digital rights to the film for a whopping ₹10 crore, and the latest update is that Shambhala will start streaming from January 22, 2026. Once the film lands on Aha, it can also be streamed on OTTplay Premium.

What is the story of Shambhala?

Yugandhar Muni directed the film, which boasts an amazing story and solid thrills. Even the likes of Allu Arjun appreciated the film greatly. Shambhala is about a small village where a meteor strikes, after which an evil spirit creates havoc. A local scientist, played by Aadi, arrives in the village and helps the residents. 

All of this was showcased in a very gripping manner. The thrills, especially in the second half, received a lot of praise. The unique theme and the absence of boring moments made the film a smash hit.

How much did Shambhala make at the box office?

As per the latest update from the tracking portal Sacnilk, Shambhala made ₹25 crore gross, which is a huge number for Aadi Saikumar’s market. Since he is not a big star, a section of the audience missed the film in theatres and will be eager to watch it on OTT. 

Who played supporting roles in Shambhala?

Archana Iyer, Swasika, and Ravi Varma played key roles in the film, which had music composed by Sricharan Pakala. The way he elevated the thrills in the second half was quite impressive.

In the past, Aadi has done many films, but none of them clicked at the box office. So, he took some time off and signed Shambhala. The way he promoted the film, carried it on his shoulders, and delivered a mature performance earned him a lot of praise from the audience.
