Shamshera is exactly what Hindi film audience craves for: Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir Kapoor believes that Shamshera is a film that the Hindi film audience craves for. The actor believes that his upcoming film is the perfect treat to viewers. He, at least, promises so in the latest promo from his film.

The makers released a video titled World Of Shamshera, in which Ranbir is seen talking about what makes his upcoming film ‘perfect.’

Calling the film a big-scale action extravaganza, Ranbir reminded the viewers that the film has a ‘badass villain’ like Sanjay Dutt while the Barfi actors is seen in two parts. He talks about action set, comedy, emotion of freedom and drama.

“It’s got everything. It’s exactly what the Hindi film audience craves for,” Ranbir shared in the video.

Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt stated that Shamshera is a ‘world of its own.’ He tagged the movie as a mass-oriented film with larger-than-life characters.

On the other hand, actress Vaani Kapoor was excited about the project because it has been shot beautifully. She explains that it is a new territory for her to explore.

Director Karan Malhotra explained why Shamshera took so long to come about. He recalled having to prep for a year and four months, shooting for 140 days and working on VFX for two and a half years. The filmmaker explained that 500 plus workers had to be called to the sets in order to build the grand sets.

The film, produced by Aditya Chopra, will release in theatres directly. The movie will be available in cinemas from July 22, 2022.
