It's been more than four years since we saw Ranbir Kapoor dancing his heart out in the movies. But worry not, the first song from Shamshera will be out tomorrow and the teaser has been released ahead of it. The song Ji Huzoor is picturised on the actor and gives a glimpse of him dancing like no one's watching. The 11-second-long teaser shows RK shaking his leg while being joined by a bunch of kids.
Aditya Narayan sings Ji Huzoor, while Mithoon has composed the music and penned the lyrics for the song. whereas Chinni Prakash is the director of the choreography for the track.
With the action flick Shamshera, Ranbir is portraying a larger-than-life version of the archetypal Hindi film hero. Tomorrow, the actor, who is returning to the big screen four years after he starred in the blockbuster Sanju, will digitally debut the first song from Shamshera, Ji Huzoor. Before they all go back to their lives of persecution and torture at the hands of the cruel and vicious Shuddh Singh, played by Sanjay Dutt, they are all shown in the song being amused by Balli, the son of tribal warlord Shamshera, played by Ranbir.
While disclosing specifics about Ji Huzoor, the actor stated that Kaza is a horrific prison for the tribe that has been seized and is being tortured repeatedly. Balli is a person who is full of life and playful, and despite all the oppression and humiliation he has experienced, the children of Kaza look up to him, and he loves them sincerely. He is part of a group with some kids, and they add some life to the desolate Kaza, where everyone is suffering at the hands of the villainous Shuddh Singh, played by none other than Sanjay Dutt.
Shamshera, directed by Karan Malhotra and produced by Aditya Chopra, is slated for release on July 22, 2022.
