The film did not do well in theatres or in box office, after it was released in May. It was recently disclosed that Manorama Max had acquired Shanthamee Raathriyil's digital rights. On August 22, the movie went live on the online streaming platform at 12 am. This month, Dileesh Pothan's Manasa Vacha and Anaswara Rajan's Vysanasametham Bandhumithradhikal both became available on the same website.

The two famous bridges, one in the misty hills of Munnar in 1970 and the other beneath the bustling London skyline in 2024, describe two love stories that are set decades apart. As hearts meet close to these bridges, fate forges an unanticipated connection between earlier times and the present, proving that love is immortal. The protagonist of the film, a young guy, uncovers his grandfather's love affair while studying in the UK.
K R Gokul, who rose to fame with Aadujeevitham, is playing a lead role in Shanthamee Raathriyil. Esther Anil, Sidharth Bharathan, Jean Paul, Tini Tom, and Kailash all play important parts. Jassie Gift composed the music for Shanthamee Raathriyil, while Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri and Joy Thamalam wrote the lyrics. Jayaraj, Rold Thomas, James Valiyaparambil, Sunil Zakariya, Suresh Zakariya, George Kuruvilla, Joby Jose, and Saviyo Jose produced the movie under the New Generation Cinema label.
