Shantit Kranti release date: When and where to watch the Marathi web series

The Marathi web series Shantit Kranti is slated to release on August 13, 2021. The web series, which is a one-of-a-kind Marathi show about a road trip, will start streaming on SonyLIV. The show is, in fact, a SonyLIV original.

Veere Di Wedding famed actress Shikha Talsania is making her debut in the Marathi entertainment industry with the show. More interestingly, it is also marking her debut in the web series space. Previously, the actress was a part of short films but she was never seen in web shows.

The TVF creation stars Alok Rajwade (Dinar), Abhay Mahajan (Shreyas) and Lalit Prabhakar (Prasanna) in the lead roles. The trio, a well-known name in the Marathi industry, plan a Goa trip but end up in a Shantivan ashram instead. They give each other a time limit but end up staying in the ashram while fighting their demons.

The comedy-drama series, like most road trip dramas, promises to be a ride of a lifetime. Even though it has some intense and dark moments, the show also promises some funny moments to keep the atmosphere light every now and then. It also deals with the real issue - of how peace often opens up some violent, untapped feelings that we hide in some way or the other.

Shantit Kranti (Violence in peace) is directed by Sarang Sathaye and Paula McGlynn. It also stars Vijay Nikam in the lead role. Sarang, Sakhi Gokhale, Mrinmayee Godbole, Amey Wagh and Jitendra Joshi make cameo appearances in the series produced by TVF's Arunabh Kumar.

Shantit Kranti is penned by Abhay Mahajan, Anusha Nandakumar, Chetan Dange and Sarang. Nikhil Arora is the DOP on the series while Yashika Gor has handled the production design for the show.

Shantit Kranti (Inhale-Exhale) is a show about three best friends, wanderlust and self-discovery.
