The highly anticipated Shark Tank India season 2 finally came back to the silver screen this year with a bang. The sharks had made quite an impression on viewers on the show’s debut season, and soon the savvy business people became household names in the country. Although their road to becoming business magnates was anything but smooth, they managed to persevere and soon managed to build multi crore businesses. Suffice to say, the sharks definitely have big bucks to their names, but who is the richest among them? That’s the question we’re here to answer.
Some of the most beloved sharks from the first season also lent their expertise for season 2. They included Lenskart CEO and co-founder Peyush Bansal, Emcure Pharmaceuticals executive director Namita Thapar, Shaadi.com founder and CEO Anupam Mittal, boAt CMO and co-founder Aman Gupta, and SUGAR Cosmetics CEO and co-founder Vineeta Singh. Joining them in the tank this season is CarDekho Group CEO and co-founder Amit Jain, who replaced BharatPe founder Ashneer Grover this season.
Anupam has made a name for himself as one of the sharpest sharks in the tank, and his net worth certainly seems to prove it. The businessman has almost INR 15,000 crores to his name. Aman, one of the wittiest and beloved sharks on the show, is not far behind Anupam. According to GQ India, Aman’s net worth amounts to a whopping INR 10,500 crores.
New shark Amit has almost INR 2900 crores to his name, while Namita and Peyush both have an estimated net worth ranging between INR 600-700 crores. Vineeta’s net worth comes to about INR 300 crores.
As the second week of Shark Tank India came to an end, Peyush, Namita, Anupam, Aman and Vineeta had made investments worth almost INR 17.58 crores. To watch the sharks in action, catch episodes of Shark Tank India season 2, streaming on SonyLIV.
